What this site is

Untangled Clarity provides educational information and structured self-reflection for people navigating difficult relationships. It is a tool for organising your own thinking.

What this site is not

• It is not therapy, counselling, or mental health treatment.
• It is not medical advice and does not diagnose any condition in you or in anyone else.
• It is not legal advice, and using it creates no attorney–client relationship.
• It is not an emergency service.
• It cannot determine whether any person has a personality disorder or any other condition. No questionnaire can.

About Yvette Davis

Yvette Davis holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and is a certified coach. She is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, social worker, or attorney, and coaching is not therapy. Where clinical care is what you need, she will say so and help you find a licensed professional.

Your responsibility

Decisions about your relationship, your safety, your finances, and your family are yours. This site will never tell you what to do — that is deliberate. Please seek qualified professional advice for your specific situation, and contact a domestic violence advocate before making decisions where safety may be a factor.

Accuracy

We work hard to keep the information here accurate and current, including crisis phone numbers, which we verify regularly. We cannot guarantee that all information is complete or applicable to your circumstances. Laws differ by state and change over time.

Your data

Assessment answers and workbook writing are stored in your own browser and never transmitted to us. If you clear your browser data it is permanently gone and we cannot recover it. Please see the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Please do not use this site to harass, impersonate, or endanger anyone; to gather information about another person without their knowledge; or to attempt to access other people's data. In the member community, do not post identifying details about yourself or anyone else. The community is supportive but is not confidential or secure.

Payments and refunds

Coaching, membership, and digital product terms are described at the point of purchase. Membership can be cancelled at any time. Unused coaching sessions are refundable. Digital products are non-refundable once downloaded, though if something is wrong please tell us.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Untangled Clarity and Yvette Davis are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or its materials. This site is provided "as is". Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
