You already know more than you think. You just can't hold it all at once.
That's what the fog does. Not a lack of intelligence, not a lack of strength — just years of having your read on reality contradicted until you stopped trusting it. Working with someone doesn't hand you answers. It hands you back your own thinking, organised, so you can finally see what you're looking at.
Free assessment, workbook, library and Safety Center stay free whether or not you ever work with Yvette. Start there if you'd rather.
If you are in immediate danger, call 911. To speak with a trained advocate — free, confidential, 24 hours a day — call 1-800-799-7233 or text START to 88788. Coaching is not crisis support, and if what you need right now is an advocate, Yvette will tell you so plainly rather than book you.
What working together actually looks like
We work the three threads, in order — because taken out of order they tangle again.
What is actually happening
We build the record. Specific incidents, dates, what was said. Not to build a case against anyone — to give you something solid to stand on when you're told you're remembering it wrong.
Who you are underneath it
The values, the boundaries, the person who existed before. This is usually the part people expect to be soft and find is the hardest.
What you actually want
Not what you should want. When the first two threads loosen, this one is usually already lying there in plain sight.
What I will not do
Tell you to stay. Tell you to leave. Decide anything for you, or set a deadline for you deciding it. You've had plenty of people willing to do all of that. My job is to help you see it clearly enough to choose for yourself.

If money is a barrier, please say so
In a lot of these relationships, money is one of the ways control gets exercised. Financial abuse is one of the sixteen areas the assessment measures — so if you're reading this thinking I couldn't explain that charge to him, you are exactly the person this was built for.
There are payment plans on everything. Charges appear on your statement under a neutral business name that says nothing about this site or what it's for. And if you need something more flexible than that, just reply to any email — nobody will ask you to prove anything.
What this is, and what it isn't
Yvette Davis holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and is a certified coach. She is not a licensed therapist, and coaching is not therapy.
That distinction is real and worth understanding. Coaching is forward-looking and practical — clarity, decisions, boundaries, plans. Therapy treats mental health conditions and processes trauma at depth, and it requires a licence Yvette doesn't hold and doesn't claim.
If what you need is clinical care, she will say so plainly and help you find someone good. Plenty of people work with a coach and a therapist at the same time, and that combination often works better than either alone.
Coaching also isn't crisis support, legal advice, or a substitute for a domestic violence advocate. Where those are what's needed, she'll point you there — including in the middle of a session, if that's what the moment calls for.
Start with a free 20-minute conversation
No pitch, no pressure, and no obligation to book anything afterward. You describe what's going on, Yvette tells you honestly whether she's the right person — and if she isn't, she'll tell you who is.

Questions people ask before booking
What if I don't know whether I want to leave?
Will you tell me what to do?
Is this confidential?
What if my partner finds out?
Can I do this if I've already left?
What if I book and then can't go through with it?
Not ready for this yet?
That's completely fine, and it's not a failure. The reflection, the workbook, the fourteen guides, the Starter Kit and the entire Safety Center are free, need no account, and will still be here whenever you want them.
